Every Legend Has a Humble Beginning……
True to its maximum, CKC Group had a modest beginning in 1961. That was the year when founder of CKC Group Late Shri Bhaichandbhai Hemchand bhai Shah decided to leave M/s Maganlal & Company Kolkatta the experienced and one of the oldest firms in Tea Industry of India.
The Mile Stones:
From 1938 till 1961:
- was send by the company in Mumbai to Kolkatta for trading purpose.
- Then he got a service in M/s Maganlal & Company one of the oldest firm of Tea Industry.
- Due to his Dedication and Hard Working, he became the Senior Partner of the company.
| 1961: | Started Chandrakant & Company in Kolkatta by Shri BhaichandBhai as a Commission Agent. |
| 1966: | Started Chandrakant & Company Branch Office in Nadiad and also started trading as a commission agent. |
| 1969: | In Guwahati ( Assam ) started another Branch office, as the Auction centre of tea was established in this year in Guwahati. Working as a Commission Agent |
| 1969: | Also Started branch Office in Siliguri ( East India ), as Auction centre of tea was established in this year in Siliguri. Working as a Commission agent |
| 1971: | Opened Branch office in Bombay (Mumbai) as a Tea Trader for Whole Sale Trading and also a Commission Agent. |
| 1978: | Was the official Auctioneer for Duncan 's Group to sell Duncan 's Whole Sale and packet teas for Entire Maharashtra and Gujarat through its regional offices. |
The year 1978 was the one of the golden year for C.K.C group to become the official Auctioneer for Duncan 's wholesale packed Teas for entire Maharashtra and Gujarat.
An already established Chandrakant & Company in the local Market is now strengthening its arm by entering in the new era of Exports aiming for entire Globe with a new Forge called "Ghanshyam Tea Company" from the year 2001
Today Ghanshyam Tea Company provides fine blends of Tea, and Promises to strive in meeting every expectation of our ever growing and Demanding Customers
