MATCHA TEA (Japanese Organic Tea)

Matcha is a particular variety of green tea, which is cultivated & prepared differently than other green teas. Both, Matcha & green tea originate, from the Camellia Sinensis plant. However, Matcha is grown differently. The tea bushes are grown in shade, for about 20 to 30 days before harvest. This method results in an increase chlorophyll levels & increases the amount of amino acids. After the leaves are harvested, the stems & veins are discarded. They are then stone ground into powder. The result is a bright green tea, known as Matcha. This tea is high in oxidants & has many health benefits. It boosts brain function, protects the liver, promotes cardiac health & helps to prevent cancer. Matcha also helps to lose weight.
